Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State.

The petitioner is in custody since 14.11.2021 in connection with Banpur P.S. Case No. 64 of 2016 corresponding to G.R. Case No. 99(A) of 2016 pending in the court of learned J.M.F.C., Banpur for the alleged commission of offence under Section 498(A)/304(B)/306/406/34 of IPC read with Section 4 of the D.P. Act.

Considering the submissions made, the materials on record, the period of detention already undergone and the fact that several co-accused persons have already been granted bail as per order passed by this Court in BLAPL No.10586 of 2021, I am inclined to allow the prayer for bail. Let the petitioner be released on bail on such terms and conditions as the court in seisin over the matter may deem fit and proper to impose including the condition that he shall

personally appear before the trial court on each date of posting of the case without fail.

The BLAPL is accordingly disposed of.

6. Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
