1. This matter is taken up through hybrid arrangement.

2. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned counsel for the State.

3. According to learned counsel for the Petitioner, the petitioner is aggrieved by the action of the opposite party No. 2 in not investigating the Baliapal P.S.Case No.188 of 2022 for commission of offences punishable under Sections 341/323/294/379/506/34 of I.P.C. read with Sections 25 and 27 of the Arms Act, corresponding to C.T.Case No.577 of 2022 pending in the Court of learned J.M.F.C., Basta.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though he has submitted his grievance petition to the Superintendent of Police, Balasore, but no action has been

// 2 // taken by him. In such background, he prays that necessary direction be given to the opposite party No.1 to instruct the concerned IIC regarding fair investigation.

5. Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the Superintendent of Police, Balasore to look into the matter and instruct the Inspector-in-Charge, Baliapal P.S., Balasore to do the needful within a period of four weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order.

6. Accordingly, this CRLMP is disposed of.

7. Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
