This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard Mr. U.K. Samal, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. P.K. Muduli, learned Addl. Government Advocate appearing for the State-opposite parties.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition challenging the order dated 01.10.2022 passed by the Rehabilitation and Resettlement Administrator-cum-Sub Collector, Sadar Sundargarh under Annexure-7, and to issue direction to the opposite parties to extend the benefit as per Odisha Resettlement and Rehabilitation Policy, 2006, within a stipulated time.

Mr. U.K. Samal, learned counsel for the petitioner contended that though the petitioner has made representation under Annexure-6, but the same has been rejected by the authority, which he came to know on receipt of communication made by the Public Information Officer, Hemgir Tahasil under Annexure-7, pursuant to application made under the Right to Information Act. 5.

As it appears, no rejection order has been placed on record by the petitioner in the present writ petition. Therefore, in absence of the order impugned, this Court is not inclined to entertain this writ petition. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to pursue his remedy before the appropriate forum in accordance

with law.

With the aforesaid liberty, the writ petition stands disposed of.

Issue urgent certified copy as per rules.
