The petitioner Sandhya Jani has filed this writ petition challenging the final list relating to selection of Anganwadi Worker in respect of Kundura Gram Panchayat Anganwadi Centre at Kaliakada Uppar Sahi in the district of Koraput under Annexure-1.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the mark sheet for selection of Anganwadi Worker in respect of the aforesaid Anganwadi Centre under Annexure-1 clearly indicates that the petitioner has secured more marks than one Rama Paraja, who was selected as Anganwadi Worker for Kaliakada Uppar Sahi Anganwadi Centre, which is illegal.

// 2 // Learned counsel for the State submitted that as per the guidelines for selection of Anganwadi Worker dated 02.05.2007 issued by the Government in Women and Child Development Department indicates that the Addl. District Magistrate will be the appellate authority for hearing complaints regarding selection of Anganwadi Workers for tribal and rural projects and urban projects and the petitioner has to approach the appellate authority instead of approaching this Court at the first instance.

In view of such submission, learned counsel for the petitioner wants to withdraw this writ petition with the liberty to approach the appropriate authority. With such liberty, the writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
