Heard Mr. S. Behera, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.
S.K.
Samal, learned Additional Government Advocate.

Mr. Samal submits that there is nothing to show that the petitioner has submitted the application for issuance of caste certificate in Form-A of the Odisha Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes (Regulation of Issuance and Verification of Caste Certificates) Rules, 2019 and therefore, no caste certificate can be issued to the petitioner.

In such background, Mr. Behera wants to withdraw this writ application as he wants to approach the appropriate authority in an appropriate manner for getting the caste certificate.

Considering such submission, the writ application is disposed of as withdrawn.

As the restrictions due to resurgence of COVID-19 situation are continuing, learned counsel for the parties may utilize a printout of the order available in the High Court's website, at par with certified copy, subject to attestation by the concerned advocate, in the manner prescribed vide Court's Notice No.4587, dated 25th March, 2020, modified by Notice No.4798, dated 15th April, 2021, and Court's Office Order circulated vide Memo Nos. 514 and 515 dated 7th January, 2022.
