Manas Ranjan Das v. Union Of India
IN THE HIGH COURT OF ORISSA AT CUTTACK
W.P (C) No. 33299 of 2022 Manas Ranjan Das .....
Petitioner Mr. K. Badhei, Adv.
Vs.
Union of India and others .....
Opposite Parties Mr. P.K. Parhi, DSGI along with Mr. B.K. Pardhi, CGC
CORAM:
DR. JUSTICE B.R. SARANGI MR. JUSTICE B.P. SATAPATHY
ORDER
16.12.2022 Order No.
01.
This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.
2.
Heard Mr. K. Badhei, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. P.K. Parhi, learned Dy. Solicitor General of India appearing along with Mr. B.K. Pardhi, learned Central Government Counsel for the opposite parties.
3.
The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction to the Central Administrative Tribunal, Cuttack Bench, Cuttack to dispose of O.A. No. 45 of 2022 pending before it within a stipulated time.
4.
Considering the contention raised by learned counsel for the parties and after going through the records, this Court is of the considered view that since the original application, early disposal of which is sought for, has been filed recently in the year 2022, this Court is not inclined to issue any direction to the Tribunal to dispose of the same. It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has already filed an M.A. before the Tribunal for early disposal of the original application. If that be so,
let the Tribunal consider and dispose of the M.A. filed before it and pass appropriate order in accordance with law. 5.
The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. Issue urgent certified copy as per rules.
