1. This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.
2. Heard Mr. A.K. Sahoo, learned counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. P.K.Maharaj, learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.
3. It is submitted that out of thirteen charge sheeted witnesses, twelve have already been examined on 2nd March, 2021, since then the trial has not proceeded for non-examination of the I.O. and the Petitioner is languishing in jail custody.
4. Having regard to the submissions as above while not being inclined to allow the prayer for bail at this stage, this Court directs the learned court below to conclude the trial within a
// 2 // period of one month from the date of production of certified copy of this order. It shall be open to the Petitioner to renew his prayer if the trial is not concluded in the aforesaid period.
5. The BLAPl is, accordingly, disposed of.
