Instant I.A. is filed for extension of time for the petitioner to surrender before the learned court below in compliance of the Courts' order dated 19th December, 2023 in CRLMC No.3873 of 2022.

It is submitted that the petitioner was outside the State and hence, failed to turn up and surrender before the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Gunupur in C.T. No.35 of 2018, hence, the petition filed.

Considered the objection of the State.

Taking into account the submissions of learned counsel for the respective parties, the Court is inclined to extend the time in the interest of justice.

Accordingly, it is ordered.

I.A. stands allowed.

Consequently, the petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Gunupur in C.T. No.35 of 2018 on or before 31st January, 2024. It is made clear that there shall be no further extension in future. 8.

Rest part of the order shall remain unaltered. 9.

The I.A. is accordingly disposed of.
