This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

The Petitioner in this writ petition prays for a direction to the R.T.O., Jharsuguda to accept the arrear tax of Rs.1,68,710/- in respect of the vehicle bearing Registration No. OR-16-D-2580 (Truck).

Mr. Behera, learned Standing Counsel for Transport Department submits that due to non-payment of tax, the vehicle of the Petitioner was seized and proclamation of sale was made. Subsequently, auction notice was issued on 27th October, 2022 and the auction was held on 18th November, 2022. In the meantime, the vehicle has already been sold in auction. 4.

In that view of the matter, the prayer made in this writ petition cannot be entertained.
