The Petitioner being in custody in connection with Thakurmunda P.S. Case No.52 of 2018 corresponding to G.R.Case No.435 of 2018 arising out of S.T. Case No.24 of 2019 on the file of learned Additional Sessions Judge, Karanjia running for commission of offence under sections 302/34, I.P.C. read with section 5/6 of the Odisha prevention of Witch Hunting Act, has filed this application under section 439 of the Cr.P.C. for his release on bail.

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

Taking into account the submissions made; further keeping in view the role said to have been played by the Petitioner as also other surrounding circumstances as those emanate from the materials on record; this application stands

// 2 // disposed of directing the Trial Court to take all such effective steps as provided in law for early conclusion of the trial as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months hence, in accordance with law.

The BLAPL is accordingly dismissed.
