Heard Mr. B.P. Pradhan, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr. R.C. Mohanty, learned counsel for opposite parties Nos. 2 to 4.

The petitioners have filed this writ petition seeking direction to the opposite parties to take a decision on the application filed by them for issuance of revalidated NOC.

Mr. Pradhan, learned counsel for the petitioners contended that the petitioners had made an application for grant of NOC for opening of B.Sc Nursing Training School, which was granted vide Annexure2. After obtaining NOC from the State Government, the petitioners approached the Indian Nursing Council for issuance of approval. Since there was delay in obtaining approval, the petitioners approached the State authorities in the year 2013 for revalidation of the NOC. Accordingly, inspection was conducted vide Annexure-3, but till date no decision has been taken by the authority.

In view of the above, this Court disposes of the writ petition directing opposite party no.3 to take a decision on the basis of the inquiry conducted vide Annexure-3 on the application filed by petitioners for issuance of revalidated NOC, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two months from the date of communication of the certified copy of the order. 6.

Issue urgent certified copy as per rules.
