This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

The grievance of the Petitioner in this writ petition is with regard to disconnection of power supply from the premises of the Petitioner without complying with the provisions of Section 56(2)(1) of the Electricity Act, 2003 (for short 'the Act'). The Petitioner also assails the inflated electricity bills raised in respect of his premises.

Since the Petitioner has a remedy under Section 42 (5) of the Act for redressal of his grievances with regard to revision of the bill, this Court is not inclined to entertain the writ petition.

However, the Petitioner, if so advised, may pray before the Grievance Redressal Forum for restoration of power supply. 5.

With the aforesaid observation, this writ petition is disposed of.
