This matter is taken up through Hybrid Mode.

Heard Mr. B.R.Behera learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. D.Mund, learned Additional Government Advocate for the State and Mr. Anwar Hussen, learned counsel appearing for the informant-Opposite Party No.2.

The Affidavit has been filed by the informant-Opposite Party No.2 that the dispute between the informant and the petitioner has been amicably settled and consequentially the informant has already received an amount of Rs.80,000/- (Rupees Eighty Thousand) by way of Demand Draft.

Taking into account the conspectus of materials on record and as the matter has been amicably settled between the parties continuance of the present proceeding would be an

exercise of the jurisdiction. Hence, in exercise of power under Section-482 Cr.P.C and in tune with the law laid by this Court in (2020) Vol. 79 OCR 313, the proceeding i.e., G.R. Case No. 243 of 2020, on the file of the learned J.M.F.C (R), Cuttack arising out of Jagatpur P.S. Case No. 45 of 2020 stands quashed. 5.

The CRLMC is accordingly disposed of.
