Heard Mr. Patnaik, learned counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. Samal, learned Additional Government Advocate. 3.
According to Mr. Patnaik, learned counsel for the Petitioner, the Petitioner is aggrieved by non-releasing of compensation amount towards acquisition of land of the Petitioner for the purpose of "Lingaraj Heritage Project" under "Ekamra Kshetra Amenities & Monuments Revival Action Plan". He further submits that though pursuant to the clarification sought by Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation on 16th September, 2021 under Annexure-9, he has submitted his reply on 23rd September, 2021 under Annexure-10 series through Registered Post, but till date no decision has yet been taken on the same. In such background, Mr. Patniak prays that a direction may be issued to the Deputy Commissioner (Land & Enforcement), Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (Opposite Party No.4), who has issued the clarification notice under Annexure-9 to take a decision on his response under Annexure10 series within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs that Deputy Commissioner (Land & Enforcement), Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (Opposite Party No.4) to take a decision on such reply under Annexure-10 series in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the Petitioner 5.
As the restrictions due to resurgence of COVID-19 situation are continuing, learned counsel for the parties may utilize a printout of the order available in the High Court's website, at par with certified copy, subject to attestation by the concerned advocate, in the manner prescribed vide Court's Notice No.4587 dated 25th March, 2020, modified by Notice No.4798 dated 15th April, 2021, and Court's Office Order circulated vide Memo Nos.514 and 515 dated 7th January, 2022.
