This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned Additional Standing Counsel appearing for the State-Opposite Party. 3.
This is an application under Section 438, Cr.P.C. filed by the Petitioners for pre-arrest bail.

The Petitioners are seeking pre-arrest bail in connection with Baidyanathpur P.S. Case No.408 of 2022, corresponding to G.R. Case No.2867 of 2022, pending in the Court of learned S.D.J.M., Berhampur, for alleged commission of offences punishable under Sections 498-A/323/307/313/506/34 of the I.P.C. read with Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1976.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the Petitioners that the Petitioners are the father and mother of the principal accused, who is the husband of the informant. It is further submitted that
// 2 // Petitioners are staying separately and the allegations made in the F.I.R. are against the son of the present Petitioners. 6.
Considering the submissions made by the respective parties and the materials placed before the Court, it is directed that in the event of arrest of the Petitioners by the Arresting Officer in the aforesaid case, Petitioners shall be released on bail on such terms and conditions as deemed just and proper by the Arresting Officer. 7.
Accordingly, the ABLAPL is disposed of.
Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
