Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

This is an application under section 438 of Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in connection with Samal Barrage P.S. Case No.192 of 2020 corresponding to G.R. Case No.1499 of 2020 pending in the court of learned S.D.J.M., Talcher for alleged commission of offences under section 395 of the Indian Penal Code read with section 25 and 27 of the Arms Act.

In view of available material on record, the

// 2 // nature and gravity of the accusation and since the petitioner has been charge sheeted under section 395 of the Indian Penal Code and there are two criminal antecedents against the petitioner, while not inclining to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner, I direct that in the event petitioner surrenders and moves for bail before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks, the same shall be disposed of as expeditiously as possible in accordance with law by the Courts below. The case records shall be made available to the Court concerned.

The ABLAPL stands disposed of.
