Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

This is an application under section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in connection with Patkura P.S. Case No.512 of 2021 corresponding to G.R. Case No.2471 of 2021 pending in the Court of learned J.M.F.C., Kendrapara for alleged commission of offences under sections 341/294/323/307 of the Indian Penal Code.

In view of available material on record, the nature and gravity of the accusation and since the

// 2 // petitioner assaulted the son of the informant for which he was hospitalized for fourteen days in Sharp Hospital, Cuttack, while not inclining to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner, I direct that in the event petitioner surrenders and moves for bail before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks, the same shall be disposed of as expeditiously as possible in accordance with law by the Courts below. The case records shall be made available to the Court concerned.

The ABLAPL stands disposed of.
