Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

The petitioner is in custody since 09.11.2021 in connection with Pipili P.S. Case No.151 of 2004 corresponding to G.R. Case No.206 (A) of 2004 pending in the Court of learned J.M.F.C., Pipili for the alleged commission of offence under Sections 147/148/333/302/149/120(b) of IPC.

It appears that more than 200 persons were implicated in the case initially and though the petitioner's name was not in the preliminary charge sheet, he was shown as an accused in the supplementary charge sheet. The petitioner remained absconding for a long period till he was taken to custody on the strength of NBW issued by the Court below. 5.

Considering the submissions, material on record and the fact that all the other co-accused persons have already been released on bail, as submitted by Mr. S. Pattanayak, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, I am inclined to allow the prayer for bail. Let the petitioner be released on bail on such terms and conditions as the court in seisin over the matter may deem fit and proper to impose including the condition that he shall personally appear before the trial Court on each date of

posting of the case without fail.

BLAPL is accordingly disposed of.
