Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. T.K. Pattnaik, learned Additional Standing Counsel.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking extension of the lease period for Quarry No.83, pursuant to lease executed on 26.04.2021.

Mr. T.K. Pattnaik, learned Additional Standing Counsel contended that the lease period has been expired and, therefore the prayer for extension of the lease period does not arise. 5.

In any case, since the petitioner has filed a representation vide Annexure-2 for consideration of his grievance with regard to extension of lease period for Quarry No.83 before the opposite party no.3, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to opposite party no.3 to consider the representation of the petitioner vide Anenxure-2 and pass appropriate order as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of filing of certified copy of this order.
