Heard Mr. M.K. Mahapatro, learned counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. H.M.Dhal, learned Additional Government Advocate.

According to Mr. Mahapatro, the petitioner is aggrieved by the non-disposal of his application filed under Section 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 styled as L.A. Misc. Case No.190 of 2016 arising out of L.A.C. No.11 of 2012 pending before the Zone Officer, Upper Indravati Irrigation project, Kalahandi (opposite party No.4). In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to the opposite party No.4 to dispose of the said case expeditiously. 4.
Considering the submission made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court disposes of the Writ Petition directing the opposite party No.4 to dispose of the L.A. Misc. Case No.190 of 2016 arising out of L.A. Case No.11 of 2012 in accordance with law within a period of three months from
the date of production of a certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner. It is further directed that in case the application of the petitioner under Section 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 is allowed, and if there is no other legal impediment, the compensation amount be disbursed in favour of the petitioner within a period of two months thereafter.
