This matter is taken up through virtual/physical mode. 2.
The Petitioner is an Association of employees working with the Odisha Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA), which was a registered society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. The Government had decided to constitute the State Animal Welfare Board in place for State Advisory Board for Animals, and pursuant to the said decision the General Body of SPCA dissolved itself for its merger in the State Animal Welfare Board. The Petitioner had filed W.P.(C) No.31672 of 2021 challenging the resolution passed by SPCA for its dissolution and merger with the State Animal Welfare Board, this Court disposed of the said petition vide order dated 11th November, 2021 with the direction to the competent authority to consider the
// 2 // representation in the aforesaid regard by passing a speaking order.

At the time of hearing, Mr. Khuntia, Additional Government Advocate states that the order has been duly complied with as speaking order dated 10th December, 2021 already stands passed, for which the Petitioner has already availed separate remedy by filing writ petition. 4.
In view of the above, we find no basis for pursing the present contempt petition.

Accordingly, this contempt petition is disposed of as infructuous.
