Heard Mr. S.K. Samantaray, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr. A.R. Dash, learned Additional Government Advocate. None appears for opposite party Nos.4 & 5. 3.

According to Mr. Samantaray, the petitioner is aggrieved by the non-disbursement of compensation money as awarded in L.A. No.25 of 2011 though such compensation has been disbursed in favour of other claimants. He submits that the land in question which was acquired was recorded in the name of his grandfather namely, Nursingha Rout. He reiterates that while the compensation money has been released in favour of other legal heirs like Bhagaban Khatua and Harihar Khatua however, petitioner has not been extended with the benefit of the same. Though highlighting his grievances, the petitioner has filed a

// 2 // grievance petition on 28.06.2021 before the Tahasildar-cumLand Acquisition Officer, Kamakshyanagar (opposite party No.3) vide Annexure-5 series but till date nothing has been done in the matter. Accordingly, he prays that a direction be issued to opposite party No.3 to take a decision on such grievance petition within a specific time limit.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the Tahasildar-cum-Land Acquisition Officer, Kamakshyanagar (opposite party No.3) to take a decision on the above noted grievance petition dated 28.06.2021 of the petitioner under Annexure-5 series in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order after giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as opposite party Nos.4 & 5. 5.

Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. 6.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application in course of the day.
