Mr. Achary, learned advocate appears on behalf of petitioner and submits, his client is a street vendor from a fixed place, doing business of washing vehicles. His client has letter of recommendation dated 3rd September, 2022 as well as receipt for payment of trade licence fee. His client has also applied on 27th October, 2022 for issuance of street vending certificate. In the meantime, there has been intervention by staff of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) in the matter of petitioner's business. He prays for appropriate direction. 2.

We have perused disclosures in the petition. We are satisfied that BMC is aware of petitioner's status as vendor at a fixed place. In the circumstance, instead of directing issuance of notice we direct opposite party no.2 to consider and deal with petitioner's application dated 27th October, 2022, received by the Corporation on that day itself.

Till two weeks after informing petitioner fate of the application, said opposite party will not take any coercive steps. 5.
The writ petition is disposed of.
