1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement Order No (Virtual/Physical) Mode.
2. Heard Mr. P.K. Mishra, learned counsel for the Petitioner.
3. This transfer petition has been filed at the instance of the husband seeking transfer of the proceeding filed by the wife under Sec. 125 Cr.P.C. in CRP No. 35 of 2022 from the Court of learned Family Judge, Puri to the Court of learned Family Judge, Bhubaneswar.
4. It is contended that the Petitioner is apprehending threat to his life at Puri and because of that the present transfer petition is filed for transfer of the matter. This Court is not inclined to accept such contention of the learned counsel for the Petitioner and is not inclined to entertain the prayer as made for transfer. However, it is observed that if the Petitioner is apprehending threat to his life he may approach the local police and if any such approach is made on his behalf, local police shall take necessary action on the same as provided under law.
5. The transfer petition is disposed of with the aforesaid observation.
