Learned counsel for Petitioner prays for a direction Court to the competent authority to register the instrument. There is no dispute that there is provision for placing such instrument in appropriate form with appropriate fees. Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that in the event the Petitioner tenders fresh instrument for registration, he is required to pay fees. For the opinion of this Court that every registration requires submission of application in appropriate form with appropriate fees as provided under the Registration Act, 1908, there is no ground to sustain the writ as the Petitioner has got clear statutory remedy otherwise. The writ petition thus stands dismissed as not maintainable at this stage.

As restrictions due to resurgence of COVID-19 situation are continuing, learned counsel for the parties may utilize a printout of the order available in the High Court's website, at par with certified copy,
