This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement. 2.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner in this CRLMP seeks a direction to the opposite party no.2 to enquire into the allegation made by the petitioner under Annexure-1 and take appropriate action immediately.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that highlighting all his grievances, the petitioner has filed a grievance petition dated 26.11.2022 before the Superintendent of Police, Bhadrak (opposite party no.2) under Annexure-1, but till date no action has been taken on the same. In such background, he prays that necessary

// 2 // direction be given to opposite party no.2 to take a decision on the said grievance petition within a specific time period. 5.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the Superintendent of Police, Bhadrak (opposite party no.2) to take a decision on the above noted grievance petition dated 26.11.2022 under Annexure-1 in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner without fail. 6.

The CRLMP is accordingly disposed of.

Issue urgent certified copy of this order on proper application.
