Petitioner has straightway come to this Court, challenging revision of the holding tax, drainage tax and light tax made by the Municipal Corporation, Rourkela. For there is clear provision in Municipal Act facilitating the parties aggrieved by such action, in disposal of Writ Petition, this Court observes, in the event, Petitioner makes an objection to Annexure-1 along with deposit of at least 25% of the arrear as on date, the same may be considered and a lawful order may be passed also in the involvement of the Petitioner. In the event, such application is filed within two weeks hence, till a decision is taken thereon by the Municipal Authority, there shall be no coercive action against the Petitioner.
