Mr. Das, learned advocate appears on behalf of petitioners and submits, his client has made representation for inclusion of Tamudia Puran/Puran caste in the Presidential Order listing, inter alia, scheduled castes. The representation was forwarded by Under Secretary to Government of India to Principal Secretary, ST and ST Development, Minorities and Backward Classes Welfare Department, Government of Odisha. He prays for direction for action being taken on the representation.

Ms. Pattanayak, learned advocate, Additional Government Advocate appears on behalf of State and submits, the representation will be dully dealt with.

Opposite party no.1 is directed to consider and deal with the representation referred to in said letter dated 25th February, 2022 from Under Secretary to Government of India (annexure-9). Decision taken thereon be made known to petitioner within four weeks of communication.
