Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

According to learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner is aggrieved by the manner in which investigation is going on in connection with Narasinghpur P.S. Case No.244 of 2022 registered for commission of offences under Sections 341/294/323/325/307/379/506/34, I.P.C. He further submits that though highlighting all his grievances, the petitioner has sent a grievance petition dated 18.07.2022 before the Superintendent of Police, Rural, Cuttack (opposite party no.2) under Annexure-3 Series, however, till date no action has been taken on the same. In such
// 2 // background, he prays that necessary direction be given to opposite party no.2 to take a decision on the said grievance petition within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the Superintendent of Police, Rural, Cuttack (opposite party no.2) to take a decision on the above noted grievance petition dated 18.07.2022 under Annexure-3 Series in accordance with law within a period of one month from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner without fail.

The CRLMP is accordingly disposed of.

Issue urgent certified copy of this order on proper application.
