ORDER

1. This matter is taken up through hybrid arrangement.

2. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned counsel for the State.

3. According to learned counsel for the Petitioner, the petitioner is aggrieved by the action of the opposite parties, more particularly, opposite party No. 3/Inspector In-charge, Paradeep Lock Police Station in not providing police protection to him till finalization of laying the drainage pipe line from the Biswali to Uchhabanandapur Road.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as per the order of this Court in CRLMP 274 of 2022 though the FIR has been registered, the concerned IIC is not taking any steps in this regard. Hence, the petitioner is

// 2 // constrained to approach this court by way of filing this petition.

4. Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the Superintendent of Police, Jagatsinghpur to look into the matter and instruct the Inspector-inCharge, Paradeep Lock P.S., to do the needful within a period of four weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order.

5. Accordingly, this CRLMP is disposed of.

6. Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
