ORDER

1. This matter is taken up through hybrid arrangement.
2. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned counsel for the State.
3. According to learned counsel for the Petitioner, the grievance of the Petitioner in this case is that the Petitioner sent a written report on 02.12.2022 under Annexure-2 Series to the opposite party No.4/ Superintendent of Police, Vigilance Cell Unit through email for registration of FIR with request to make investigation and criminal prosecution of the accused persons under Public Distribution Scam and siphoning of public resources by impersonation and fraudulent means. As no action has been taken by the said opposite party, the petitioner has been constrained to approach this court
// 2 // by way of this application seeking for a direction to the opposite parties.
4. Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the Superintendent of Police, Vigilance Cell Unit, Bhubaneswar Division to take a decision on the written report under Annexure-2 and 3 Series in accordance with law, keeping in the mind the decision of the Supreme Court in the case of Lalita Kumari v. Govt. of U.P. & Others1 within a period of four weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
5. Accordingly, this CRLMP is disposed of.
6. Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
