Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking to quash the notice dated 08.12.2022 under Annexure-7 and to direct the opposite parties to consider his case in the zone of consideration for Departmental Promotion to the post of Associate Professor in Anatomy. 4.

Mr. Sahu, learned counsel for the petitioner contended that the name of the petitioner finds place at Sl. No.2 in the cadre list, but when the question of promotion comes, ignoring her case, juniors were given promotion. Though he has already moved the authority on 16.12.2022, but the said document has not been placed on record. Therefore, learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner may be permitted to file a fresh representation before the authority concerned highlighting the grievances and direction may be given to consider the same within a stipulated time, to which learned counsel for the State has no objection. 5.

As agreed to by learned counsel for the parties, however, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this writ petition stands disposed of with the direction that in case the petitioner, with regard to the grievance made in this petition, files a fresh comprehensive representation

before the authority concerned, within ten days hence, the said authority shall consider the same and pass a reasoned and speaking order, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of such representation along with the certified copy of this order.
