This matter is taken up through video conference mode. Order No.

Heard learned counsel for the Parties.

In course of submission, Mr.Mohapatra, learned counsel for the Petitioner makes a statement that during pendency of C.P. No.473/2015 before the Family Court, Cuttack at the instance of the Husband, there is development to the effect that both Parties have filed a compromise petition to the said Civil Proceeding, which is pending consideration. It is keeping this in view, learned counsel for the Petitioner in modification of his prayer herein makes a request for direction at least to the Family Court, Cuttack for considering the joint compromise petition filed by both the Parties involving C.P. No.473 of 2015 and attempting to dispose of the same within a short period.

It is keeping in view the modified request involved herein and after recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the Petitioner, as recorded herein above, this Court disposes of the Writ Petition directing the Family Court, Cuttack, in the event there is already a compromise petition filed by both the Parties and pending at his end in the Civil Proceeding involved, provided both the Parties appear along with copy of this order before the Family Court, arrangement, if necessary through Video Conference mode, shall be made for hearing the Proceeding involving the compromise petition. The Family Court, Cuttack shall do well in passing final order, if both the Parties stick to the compromise petition within a period of two weeks from the date of communication of this order. 5.
As restrictions due to resurgence of COVID-19 situation are continuing, learned counsel for the Parties may utilize a printout of the order available in the High Court's Website, at par with certified copy, subject to attestation by the concerned Advocate, in the manner prescribed vide Court's Notice No.4587 dated 25th March, 2020, modified by Notice No.4798 dated 15th April, 2021 and Court's Office Order circulated vide Memo Nos.514 and 515 dated 7th January, 2022.
