Heard learned Counsel for the parties.

By means of this writ petition the petitioner seeks for direction to the opposite parties to release the differential amount of house rent, which has been withheld by them.

It is agreed by learned counsel for the parties that the issue involved in this case is analogous to one involved in WPC (OAC) No. 2825 of 2012 (Swaymbhu Kumar Pradhan v. State of Odisha and others), which has been disposed of vide order of this Court dated 06.04.2022.

Therefore, in view of the detailed reasons stated in the order dated 06.04.2022 passed in Swaymbhu Kumar Pradhan (supra), this writ petition stands disposed of in terms of the said order. Since the order dated 20.07.2012 under Anenxure-2 has been quashed in WPC (OAC) No. 2825 of 2012, opposite parties are directed to release the house rent Allowance @ 10% w.e.f. 01.06.2012 in favour of the petitioner till he continued in the said institution and the house rent allowance as due and admissible shall be released within a period of three months from the date of receipt of the order. 6.

Issue urgent certified copy as per rules.
