1. This matter is taken up through hybrid arrangement.
2. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned counsel for the State.
3. According to learned counsel for the Petitioner, the petitioner is aggrieved by the action of the opposite parties, more particularly, opposite party No. 2/Inspector In-charge, Dhauli Police Station in not arresting the accused in connection with Dhauli P.S. Case No.234 of 2022 for commission of offences punishable under Sections 294/323/354/376/427/511/506/34 of I.P.C.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though he has informed the Commissioner of Police, Deputy Commissioner of Police and Inspector In-charge of Police, Bhubaneswar on 06.11.2022 and 11.11.2022 ventilating his
// 2 // grievance, but no action has been taken till date. In such background, he prays that necessary direction be given to the opposite party No.2 to instruct the IIC, Dhauli P.S. /opposite party No.3 regarding fair investigation.
5. Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the opposite party No.2/Deputy Commissioner of Police, Bhubaneswar to look into the matter and instruct the Inspector-in-Charge, Dhauli P.S., Bhubaneswar to do the needful within a period of four weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
6. Accordingly, this CRLMP is disposed of.
7. Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
