This matter is taken up through Video Conferencing Mode.

Heard Mr. Patnaik, learned counsel for the Petitioners and Mr. Dash, learned AGA.

According to Mr. Patnaik, the Petitioners are aggrieved by the action of the authorities in not returning Rs.1.00 lakh each to them, which have been deposited by them with the Chairman, State Environment Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA), Bhubaneswar on the instruction of Tahasildar, Loisingha (OP No.3) at the time of grant of lease though there was no such legal requirement to make the above noted deposit. 4.

In course of hearing, he submits highlighting all their grievances, the Petitioners have filed a representation on 5th January, 2021 (Annexure-4) before the Chairman, SEIAA and till date the same has not yet been disposed of. Hence, he prays that a direction may be issued to Chairman, SEIAA (Opposite

// 2 // Party No.2) to dispose of the above noted representation within a stipulated time.

Considering the submission made this Court without expressing any opinion on the merit of the case, directs the Chairman, State Environment Impact Assessment Authority, Bhubaneswar to consider the above noted representation of the Petitioners as at Annexure-4, which is stated to have been filed and pending before him, within a period of three months and communicate the result of such exercise to Petitioner No.2, who in turn is directed to share such information with Petitioner No.1.

With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is disposed of.

Issue urgent certified copy of the order on proper application.
