1. The matter is taken up through hybrid mode. Order No.

2. Learned counsel for the Utkal University fairly submits that the B.P. Ed. certificates were issued to the candidates on 13.09.2021, which is before the date of submission.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has qualified in the computer based test and he has been rejected due to the non-furnishing of certificate. The certificates of the petitioner bearing the authority of Principal, DIET, Narsinghpur, Cuttack were issued on 13.09.2021. Subsequently, the certificates were forwarded to the College on the same day. Premising on the said averments, the rejection of the candidate is erroneous.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though similarly placed persons have already been appointed, the petitioner has been left behind and his candidature has been rejected frivolously. The petitioner was found to be meritorious but due to the objection raised by the authority, he was left behind.

5. In such view of the matter, let the Directorate of Secondary Education, Bhubaneswar include the present petitioner in the merit list, if he is eligible.

6. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of.
