1.
Heard Mr. S.D.Das, learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner and Mr. D.K.Mohanty, learned Additional Standing Counsel through video conferencing mode.

According to Mr. Das, the petitioner is aggrieved by the tardy manner in which investigation is going on in connection with Gosaninuagaon P.S. Case No.167 dated 18.12.2020 registered for commission of offences under Sections 341, 354A, 354-B, 294, 506 & 509 of the I.P.C. 3.
Mr.Mohanty, learned Addl. Standing Counsel submits that for redressal of such grievances the petitioner should have approached the Superintendent of Police, Berhampur (opposite party no.2) instead of rushing to this Court. 3.
In such background, Mr. Das submits that liberty may be granted to the petitioner to move the Superintendent of Police, Berhampur (opposite party No.2) in the matter by filing a grievance petition and the said opposite party be directed to take a decision on such motion at an early date.
// 2 // 4.
Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court grants liberty to the petitioner to file a grievance petition before opposite party No.2 through registered post within a period of two weeks from today. In the event, such a petition is filed along with a copy of this order, the opposite party No.2 would do well to take a decision on the same in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of such grievance petition keeping in mind the mandate of the statute that every investigation is required to be completed without unnecessary delay and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.
5.
Accordingly, this CRLMP is disposed of.
