This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

The Petitioner apprehending his arrest in Balasore Vigilance P.S. Case No.15 of 2021 registered for alleged commission of offence punishable under Section 13(2) read with Section 13(1)(c) of the P.C. Act, 1988 and Sections 409, 467, 468, 477-A and 109 of the I.P.C., has filed this petition for his release on pre-arrest bail.

Heard the learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned counsel for the State.

It appears that the Petitioner had earlier approached this Court vide ABLAPL No.12322 of 2021, which was dismissed on merit vide order dated 25th October, 2021. But, the Petitioner has come to this Court again for his release on pre-arrest bail on the ground that co-accused has already been released on bail.

Considering the facts and submissions made, especially the nature and gravity of the accusation, character of incriminating materials appearing against the Petitioner, circumstances in which he has been indicted in this case, I am not inclined to release the Petitioner on pre-arrest bail. 6.

Accordingly, the prayer for pre-arrest bail of the Petitioner stands rejected.
