This matter is taken up through video conferencing mode. 2.

Heard Mr. P.K. Behera, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr. S.K. Samal, learned Additional Government Advocate. 3.

According to Mr. Behera, the petitioners are aggrieved by the inaction of the authorities in extending them the benefits either under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (G) or under Nirman Shramik Pucca Ghar Yojana (R.H) though they are eligible to get the same. He submits that though highlighting their grievances, the petitioners have approached the Project Director, District Rural Development Agency, Kendrapara (opposite party No.4) on 10.12.2021 by filing a representation vide Annexure-2 through speed post on the same day, however, till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to the said opposite party to take a decision on the above noted representation within a specific time period. 4.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court

// 2 // directs the Project Director, District Rural Development Agency, Kendrapara (opposite party No.4) to take a decision on the above noted representation of the petitioners under Annexure-2 in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of production of a certified copy of this order, if in the meantime, the same has not been disposed of and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioners. 5.

Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. 6.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application. .
