1. This matter is taken up through virtual mode.

2. Heard Mr. D.P.S. Mallick, learned counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. P. Tripathy, learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

3. The Petitioner is in custody since 18th April, 2021 in connection with Banigocha P.S.

Case No.24/2021 corresponding to T.R. Case No.78/2021 pending in the court of learned Addl. District Judge, Nayagarh for the alleged

// 2 // commission of the offence under Sections 376(2)(n)/366A/342/506 of I.P.C. read with Section 6 of the POCSO Act.

4. Having regard to the nature of allegations and the availability of materials prima facie to support the same, I am not inclined to allow the prayer for bail, which is therefore rejected.

5. It is open to the Petitioner to renew his prayer after examination of material witnesses in the case including the victim.
