This matter is taken up through video conferencing mode.

The Petitioner in this writ petition prays for a direction for early disposal of Mutation Case No.1390 of 2021 stated to be pending before the Tahasildar, Satyabadi.

Mr. Mohapatra, learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the land involved in the aforesaid mutation case has been purchased by the Petitioner from the recorded tenant vide Registered Sale Deed No.11541000204 dated 22nd February, 2010. Accordingly, the Petitioner filed Mutation Case No.1390 of 2021 for preparing the R.O.R. in his name. Although the matter is otherwise ready for hearing and there is no legal impediment for early disposal of the aforesaid mutation case, the Tahasildar, Satyabadi is not taking any step for disposal of the same in accordance with law. Hence, finding no other alternative, the Petitioner has filed this writ petition 4.

Mr. Mishra, learned Additional Government Advocate for the State submits that he has no instruction in the matter.

// 2 // The Tahasildar, Satyabadi may be directed for early disposal of the aforesaid mutation case in accordance with law, if there is no legal impediment.

Taking into consideration the submissions made by learned counsel for the Parties, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, disposes of the writ petition with a direction that on production of an authenticated copy of this order before the Tahasildar, Satyabadi-Opposite Party within a period of two weeks hence, the Tahasildar, Satyabadi shall take steps for early disposal of Mutation Case No.1390 of 2021 as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of four months therefrom giving opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned, if there is no legal impediment. 6.

As restrictions due to resurgence of COVID-19 situation are continuing, learned counsel for the parties may utilize a printout of the order available in the High Court's website, at par with certified copy, subject to attestation by the concerned Advocate in the manner prescribed vide Court's Notice No.4587 dated 25th March, 2020 modified by Notice No.4798 dated 15th April, 2021, and Court's Office Order circulated vide Memo Nos.514 and 515 dated 7th January, 2022.
