This matter is taken up through Video Conferencing Mode. 2.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties. 3.

This writ petition involves the following prayer. "It is therefore prayed that this Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to admit this Writ Application, notice may be issued to the Opp.Parties to file their counter and after hearing both sides, an order may be passed directing the Secretary, Board of Secondary Education, Odisha, Cuttack (OP No.2) and the Deputy Secretary, BOSE, Odisha, Cuttack(OP No.3) to issue a corrected High School Certificate to the petitioner within a short stipulated time, mentioning the names of his Parents as Alekh Chandra Swain and Sujatarani Swain in terms of the declaration made by the learned Civil Judge (Jr. Divisin), 2nd Court, Cuttack in Civil Suit No.6735 of 2014.

And/or any other order(s) /direction (s) as your Lordship deem fit and proper;

And for this act of kindness the petitioner as in duty bound shall ever pray."

Looking to the limited request involved herein and as this Court finds the representation at the instance of the petitioner on the self same issue vide Annexure-3 is pending consideration, without expressing any opinion on the merit of the case, this Court disposes of the writ petition directing the opposite party no.2 to look into the grievance of the petitioner vide Annexure-3 and take decision, as appropriate, taking into consideration the plea taken in the writ petition within a period of two months from the date of communication of an authenticated copy of this order along with copy of the writ petition by the petitioner.

As restrictions due to resurgence of COVID-19 situation are continuing, learned counsel for the parties may utilize a printout copy of the order available in the High Court's website, at par with certified copy, subject to attestation by the concerned advocate, in the manner prescribed vide Court's Notice No.4587, dated 25th March, 2020 as modified by Court's Notice No.4798, dated 15th April, 2021 and Court's Office order circulated vide Memo Nos.514 & 515 dated 7th January, 2022.
