The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking to quash the order dated 21.01.2021 under Annexure-10 issued by opposite party no.4, and further to issue direction to opposite party no.3 to consider the case of the petitioner for promotion to the post of Junior Assistant from the date, similar circumstanced persons have been promoted and grant all consequential service and financial benefits. 4.

Mr. S. Behera, learned counsel for the petitioner contended that the case of the petitioner is covered by the ratio decided by this Court in Sanjib Kumar Singh & Ors. v. State of Odisha (W.P.(C) No.33857 of 2022, disposed of on 13.12.2022). Therefore, this writ petition may be disposed of in the light of the aforesaid order, to which learned State Counsel has raised no objection. 5.

In the above view of the matter, the order dated 21.01.2021 passed by opposite party no.4 under Annexure-10 is hereby quashed. Accordingly, opposite party no.3 is directed to consider the case of the petitioner in the light of the order passed by this Court in the case of Sanjib Kumar Singh & Ors (supra) and pass appropriate order in

accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.

Issue urgent certified copy as per rules.
