1. This matter is taken up by video conferencing mode. Order No.
2. Heard Mrs. K.R. Choudhury, learned counsel for the Petitioner.
3. The Petitioner in this Writ Petition seeks for a direction to the Opposite Party Nos.1 and 2 to act upon the grievance petition under Annexure-2 series in accordance with law and deposit the TDS amount in its account within a stipulated time.
4. Considering the submissions made, a direction is issued to the Asst. Commissioner of Income Tax (TDS), Bhubaneswar (Opposite Party No.1) to dispose of the grievance petition of the Petitioner under Annexure-2 series, if not already disposed
// 2 // of, after giving opportunity of hearing to the Petitioner and pass a reasoned order thereon not later than 4th April, 2022, and communicate the copy of the order to the Petitioner not later than 11 April, 2022. It is clarified that this Court has not expressed any opinion in the matter.
5. The Writ Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
6. As the restrictions due to resurgence of COVID-19 situation are continuing, learned counsel for the parties may utilize a printout of the order available in the High court's website, at par with certified copy, subject to attestation by the concerned Advocate, in the manner prescribed vide Court's Notice No.4587, dated 25th March, 2020, modified by Notice No.4798, dated 15th April, 2021 and Court's Office Order circulated vide Memo Nos.514 and 515 dated 7th January, 2022.
