This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

The Petitioner in this writ petition prays for a direction to the Opposite Party Nos.2 and 3 to provide power supply to her residential house.

Mr. Mohanty, learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner has her residential house over Plot No.450 under Khata No.17 situated in Gambharia village under Badanai Gram Panchayat in the district of Keonjhar. On the application made by the Petitioner, power connection under Prime Minister Soubhagya Scheme was provided. A meter was also installed bearing meter No.4958202. All on a sudden, the Junior Engineer (Electrical)- Opposite Party No.3 disconnected the power supply on 14th May, 2020. Since then, the Petitioner is trying her best to get the power supply but to no avail. The Petitioner also approached the ST/SC Development Department, Government of Odisha on 7th June, 2020 by filing a complaint, which was received on 8th June, 2020. The complaint/grievance petition of the Petitioner was forwarded to the Collector, Keonjhar by ST/SC Department vide memo No.18522

// 2 // dated 24th December, 2020 under Annexure-2, but no action has yet been taken in that regard. Hence, Mr. Mohanty, learned counsel for the Petitioner prays for a direction to the Collector, Keonjhar to take a decision on the same at an early date and restore the power supply to her residence. The Petitioner has also approached Taluk Legal Service Authority, Champua for redressal of her grievance. 4.

Mr. Mishra, learned Additional Standing Counsel submits that he has no instruction in the matter. However, if the grievance petition of the Petitioner has been forwarded to the Collector, Keonjhar by ST/SC Development Department, he should take a decision on the same in accordance with law.

Taking into consideration the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case of the Petitioner, disposes of this writ petition with a direction that on production of certified copy of this order, the Collector, Keonjhar-Opposite Party No.1 shall do well to take a decision on the grievance petition of the Petitioner, which was forwarded to him as at Annexure-2 by the SC/ST Department in accordance with law, if the same is still pending. 6.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner undertakes to submit the up-to-date information before the Collector, Keonjhar with regard to her complaint made before Taluk Legal Service Authority, Champua.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
