Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

The petitioner is in custody in connection with CDA Phase-II P.S. Case No.44 of 2021 corresponding to G.R. (Special) Case No. 15 of 2021 pending in the Court of learned Sessions Judge-cumSpecial Judge, Cuttack for the alleged commission of offence under Section 37 of NDPS Act.

Considering the fact that seized contraband article is more than the commercial quantity being 1kg. 0.38gm of brown sugar, I am not inclined to allow the prayer for bail which is therefore rejected. 5.

BLAPL is accordingly rejected.
