The Petitioner being in custody in connection with Motu P.S. Case No.57 of 2020 corresponding to T.R. Case No.85 of 2020 on the file of learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Malkangiri, running for commission of offence under Section-8(c) read with section 20(b)(ii)(C)/27-A of the NDPS Act, has filed this application under Section 439 of the Cr.P.C. for his release on bail in the above mentioned case.

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned Counsel for the State.

Taking into account the submissions made; further keeping in view the role said to have been played by the Petitioner as also other surrounding circumstances as those emanate from the materials on record; at this stage, I am not inclined to grant bail to the Petitioner.

The BLAPL is accordingly dismissed.
