The limited grievance of the Petitioner in the present writ petition is that he submitted a research thesis leading to D.Litt Degree in Odia for evaluation before the Vice-Chancellor, Fakir Mohan University, Balasore, Opposite Party No.1, way back on 06.08.2012, but no action has been taken on the same by the University as of now. Accordingly, learned counsel for the Petitioner prays for a direction to the Opposite Party No.1 to take a decision on the research thesis submitted by him.

Considering the limited nature of prayer, this Court disposes of the writ petition with a direction to the Vice-Chancellor, Fakir Mohan University, Balasore, Opposite Party No.1 to consider the representation of the Petitioner under Annexure-4 series within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order by the Petitioner. It is needless to mention here that the

// 2 // Authorities shall consider the representation of the Petitioner in accordance with law and pass a reasoned and speaking order. The decision so taken be communicated to the Petitioner within a period of ten days. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case. Since the matter is disposed of at the stage of admission without hearing the Opposite Parties, in the event, Opposite Parties aggrieved by the order of this Court, they may seek for variation/modification of the order. 3.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands disposed of.
