This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

The Petitioner in this writ petition seeks for a direction for early disposal of his application filed under Section 22 of the Odisha Land Reforms Act, 1960 (for short, 'the Act') under Annexure-1 pending before the Sub-Collector-cum-Revenue Officer, Bhubaneswar-Opposite Party No.3.

Mr. Mishra, learned Additional Standing Counsel on instruction, submits that on receipt of the application filed by the Petitioner under Annexure-1, the Tahasildar, Jatni was directed to make an enquiry and submit verification report which has already been submitted by the Tahasildar, Jatni on 19th February, 2022 before the Sub-Collector-cum-Revenue Officer, BhubaneswarOpposite Party No.3. 4.

In that view of the matter, Mr. Mishra, learned Additional Standing Counsel submits that the Petitioner has to appear before the Sub-Collector-cum-Revenue Officer, Bhubaneswar-Opposite

// 2 // Party No.3. along with vendee for recording of his statement and to cooperate for early disposal of his application. 5.

Mr. Mahapatra, learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that he will instruct his client accordingly. 6.

Taking into consideration the submission made by learned counsel for the parties, this Court disposes of this writ petition with a direction that in the event the Petitioner appears before the Sub-Collector-cum-Revenue Officer, Bhubaneswar-Opposite Party No.3 on 16th May, 2022 along with certified copy of this order, the Sub-Collector-cum-Revenue Officer, BhubaneswarOpposite Party No.3 shall do the needful and see that the application filed by the Petitioner under Section 22 of the Act under Annexure-1 is disposed of early. The Petitioner is also directed to cooperate with the Sub-Collector-cum-Revenue Officer, Bhubaneswar-Opposite Party No.3 for early disposal of the application under Annexure-1.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
